The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 126508 is a modern expression of one of Rolex’s most recognisable chronographs, combining the performance of the Daytona with the presence of an 18ct yellow gold case and Oyster bracelet. This 2024 example is presented in excellent condition and comes as a full set.
The watch features a striking black dial with contrasting yellow-gold details, creating a distinctive configuration that has become known among collectors as the “Pikachu” Daytona. The 40mm case is crafted entirely in 18ct yellow gold and is paired with the matching solid yellow-gold Oyster bracelet.
At the centre of the watch is Rolex’s black Cerachrom bezel, featuring a tachymetric scale designed for measuring average speeds over a known distance. The three chronograph sub-dials provide the Daytona’s signature layout, while the highly legible hands and hour markers complement the overall black and yellow-gold configuration.
